Graphics & Packaging Designer - Uppingham Based

Location: In Office – Uppingham, Rutland

Job Details:

Key responsibilities:

  • Communication of exact packaging requirements via detailed specification to the factory and support with follow up queries
  • Work to customer brief following packaging guidelines
  • Collaborate with the team on group projects to meet deadlines
  • Manage packaging approval process with key customer contacts
  • Pitch visual ideas and mock-up design concepts for customers where required
  • Review current ranges and suggest improvements where needed
  • Photograph samples in order to compile line sheets and brochures
  • Keep company B2B website current

Skills/Personal Qualities/Experience:

  • A minimum of 1-2 years’ experience in packaging design
  • Strong knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and other associated Adobe software (Photoshop, Illustrator, and In Design)
  • Creative and technical knowledge within packaging design
  • Excellent visual communication skills with a strong eye for packaging and artwork graphic design
  • A proactive team player with strong communication and organisational skills
  • A driven work ethic and high attention to detail
  • Be willing to learn new skills and tasks
  • Possess the agility to turn around fast paced projects to meet critical path deadlines
  • Have an enthusiasm for fashion and accessories
  • Hold a full driving licence and access to a vehicle

Junior Product Technologist - Uppingham Based

Location: In Office – Uppingham, Rutland

Job Details:

Key responsibilities:

  • Provide technical support to ensure products are fit for purpose and meet required quality and safety standards.
  • Ensure testing standards are met as per customer requirements.
  • Attend development and fit meetings when required.
  • Attend critical path meetings and keep technical update logs for each account.
  • Provide clear and concise written documentation ensuring workbooks are maintained throughout the sealing process.
  • Deal promptly with all specification queries from overseas manufacturers ensuring all details are recorded, kept updated and relayed back to factories within the agreed timescales.
  • Visit factories overseas to carry out production inspections when required.
  • Support the QC on inspecting products to ensure that they meet quality standards.
  • General support on helping to ensure products are packed on time to meet delivery and additional tasks which support other teams and the business overall as required.

  • Ability to understand technical requirements for products

Senior Sales Support - Uppingham Based

Location: In Office – Uppingham, Rutland

Job Details:

Key responsibilities:

  • Undertake sales report analysis and leads, make recommendations to the sales team on key opportunities for growth.
  • Take responsibility for sales growth of some of our important accounts via telephone support and engagement.
  • Oversee the workload of the sales support team.
  • Communicate with the operations and warehouse team to ensure all orders are processed in an efficient and timely manner.
  • Effectively communicate with customers, sales agents and internal brands team to ensure first class customer service, with responsibility for receiving and processing orders accurately and to time.
  • Manage the internal AW systems by raising sales orders using Microsoft Navision.
  • Communicate any special requirements of customer orders (packaging, delivery, terms).
  • Resolve any post-delivery invoice queries, including debit and credit notes.
  • Work with the accounts team to resolve any overdue payments.

Skills/Personal Qualities/Experience:

  • Sound working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
  • Experience of a sales order processing system (preferable but full training can be given)
  • Confident and friendly approach to dealing with customers over the telephone and face to face
